Art has been a lifelong love for me. As a child, I was naturally drawn to painting. The experience of painting from nature is an essential part of my creative process. I am fascinated with the intensity and strength of the hues and shades that light plays on nature. My travels have provided me with ample source material, and some of my work depicts scenes and places I have visited.

I studied watercolor under Raphael Barbarino in 1977. This was the first time I saw the brilliance and flow that watercolor could deliver. My main focus has been landscapes.
